Eva Grover

Eva Grover ’24, from Hailey, Idaho, is pursuing a major in Government and minors in Economics and African Studies. Spring ’23 she participated in SLU’s Kenya Semester Program and completed an internship with the human rights organization HAKI Africa. Here on campus she is involved in a variety of honors societies and leadership positions such as ODK, PSA, and serves on the executive board for the Beta Beta Chapter of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Interested in multi-party politics, political corruption, and global democracy trends, she spent her summer under the advisory of Dr.

Vladimir Iglesias

My name is Vladimir Iglesias, and I am currently a senior majoring in Economics and Government at St. Lawrence University. Originally from El Salvador, I was born and raised there, with my educational journey beginning at Highlands International School San Salvador. In 2020, I proudly graduated from Highlands, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another at St. Lawrence University.

Benjamin Lloyd

My name is Ben Lloyd and I am now a Senior at St. Lawrence University. I am majoring in Business in the Liberal Arts as well as Government, hence my internship this summer. Ever since my Freshman year of high school when my mom began working for my county's government, I have wanted to work in Government. In the summer of 2022, I got my first opportunity to do just that when I was hired as a Field Organizer for Matt Castelli's Congressional Campaign in New York's 21st Congressional District. Having the opportunity to progress and work for a sitting and well-accomplished U.S.

Allee Mack

Allee Mack '24 is from Marietta, New York where she graduated from Onondaga Central High School in 2020. She is majoring in Government and minoring in History, and she is interested in pursuing a career in politics. During her time at SLU, Allee served as the Student Delegate to the Board of Trustees, the Secretary for SLU Advocates, and a student ambassador for the Andrew Goodman Foundation. Additionally, Allee received the Harry Reiff Junior Government Major Scholarship Award and the Meg Flaherty Student Leadership Award.

Bryn Pearson

I am a junior at St. Lawrence University, majoring in government with a minor in philosophy. This past summer, I interned in the U.S. Senate on Capitol Hill. While I am interested in pursuing a career more focused on foreign relations, this amazing opportunity provided me with vital inside knowledge of how the U.S. government operates. I look forward to applying the knowledge and skills I have gained from this experience in all of my future pursuits. In the past, I have always gravitated towards leadership, whether that be in my coursework, extracurriculars, or jobs.

John Reece

John Reece, Class of 2024, born in Washington D.C raised in Sudbury, Massachusetts. He majors in Government with a minor in African Studies. With his major in Government, John has developed a passion for the topics of law and counter-terrorism, leading to his time interning for the United States Marshals Service. With nearly 7 months of working for Federal Law Enforcement, he hopes to follow up with connections made during his time in D.C and utilize his experience into a career with agencies such as FBI, ATF, or DEA directly after graduation.

Brandon Reyes

I'm a Government major at St. Lawrence University, currently in my sophomore year. My dad recently retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, so throughout my childhood I got the opportunity to travel the world and move from base to base in places like Japan and England. My mom works in government contracting while also studying at law school. These perspectives gave me a no-excuses, big-picture view of the world, which I want to use to help marginalized people and aid the environment.

Jaden Phillips

Jaden Phillips class of '23 is majoring in Government and International Economics-French. During the summer she spent time in France interning with a ski company in Chamonix. Jaden used this experience to dive into the culture and practice her french skills while learning about marketing in the outdoor industry. At school this semester she will be a captain of the nordic ski team. 

Sage Lalor

Sage Lalor (she/her) is a St. Lawrence University student who is designing her own multi-field major called Equity Studies. She took part in the Adirondack Semester Program during the fall of 2021 and is currently studying abroad in Denmark. When on campus, she guides outdoor trips in the Adirondack Park, creates space for non-violent communication workshops, and does yoga and meditation with the Light House. When not in school she spends her time reading, journalling, playing outside, and dancing with friends. 

Toky Rakotoarisoa

Toky currently pursues a double major in Political Science and International Relations at St. Lawrence University. In Summer 2022 she participated in the Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program in New York City and a Program intern at Network 20/20. In Summer 2021, Toky was an intern at the Economic Board of Madagascar, where she helped coordinate various regions on “Mandrisika”, an alleviation Program aiming to help tourism sector in Madagascar impacted by the pandemic.

Isaiah Albright

Isaiah Albright (he/him/his), born and raised in North Adams, Massachusetts, is a recent grad from the Class of 2023 at St. Lawrence University with a major in Government and a minor in European Studies. His previous student fellowship research utilized a multidimensional approach to understanding the relationship between government development efforts and ethnicity. Beyond his academic interests, Isaiah served on the executive board of SLU Pi Sigma Alpha, worked as a peer reviewer for The Underground, and was a member of the St. Lawrence University Performing Arts Collective.
