Marti Peidro Riverola

Martí '28 is pursuing a major in Economics and Business with a minor in Chinese Studies at St. Lawrence University. He is from Barcelona, Spain, and also spent two years in Hong Kong completing the International Baccalaureate diploma at United World College. Living in such diverse parts of the world has given him a global perspective and strengthened his adaptability and cross-cultural understanding.

Finn Murphy is a junior student-athlete at St. Lawrence University with a double major in political science and business with a minor in sports studies and exercise science while being a member of the football team. Along with his academics and athletes he works as the creative brand strategist for the SLU Women’s Hockey Team and a content creator, marketer, and social media manager for Saints Athletics.

My name is Jonah Klingler, and I’m a junior at St. Lawrence University, double-majoring in Digital Media and Business. I’ve always been passionate about the outdoors, and over time, I found a true calling in videography, photography, and storytelling. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than capturing someone’s experience in a way that allows them to relive it, and hold onto it as part of their memory.

Hazel Howard

My name is Hazel and I am a Business and Environmental Economics Double Major at St. Lawrence University, originally from Cambridge, VT. I went to high school at Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield, Vermont, where I skied for 4 years on the FIS circuit before continuing my academic and collegiate ski racing career here at SLU. I am driven by my love for the outdoors and environmental advocacy, and I hope to find a career in sustainability to help businesses with their environmental initiatives.

Velma Monteiro is a junior majoring in Finance and Business with a minor in Communications. Her interests in the finance and business sector are diverse ranging from banking, financial literacy, private equity, financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, and administration and management. She has nurtured a background in regulatory and policy analysis, compliance monitoring, strategic evaluation and research-reporting skills with the Central Bank of Timor-Leste (BCTL, in official language) as a Finance Intern.

My name is Cam Croasdaile ’26, I'm an Economics and Business double major at St. Lawrence University, and a captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team. My academic and professional interests center on financial markets and investments. I plan to pursue a career in finance, with a focus on investment strategy, business development, or data-driven solutions.

Halla Chappell

I am a Senior at St. Lawrence, a double major in Global Studies & Business major and double minor in Francophone and European Studies. On campus I am a member of the Women's Track and Field team, Chi Omega, SAAC, a peer advisor in the Center for International and Intercultural Studies, and hold exec positions in Club Figure Skating and Athletes for Athletes. After graduation I am looking to pursue a career in Business and Finance with particular interest in M&A and international business.

Ariana Ardell

Ariana Ardell is a student of the class of 2028. She is double-majoring in Environmental Studies and Business in the Liberal Arts, with a minor in Asian Studies. Over the past year, Ariana has been dedicated to growing her communication and outreach skills, focusing on a environmental sustainability. On campus, Ariana is vice president of the women's/genderqueer fishing club, Women With Rods. She is also the secretary of St. Lawrence Sailing Club and sits on the E-board as social chair of Fly Fishing Club.

 

Shota Kubota

I have built my foundation on balancing academics and athletics, always striving for excellence in both. Born in the United States and raised in Japan, I attended an international school after returning to Japan, which gave me a global perspective and the ability to understand and respect diverse values. Alongside my studies, I played baseball in a traditional Japanese setting, where I developed strong discipline and self-control which are qualities that help me serve as a bridge between Japan and the world.

I am Nikolas Papaioannou and I come from a big city in Greece, called Thessaloniki. I grew up there with my parents, my two older sisters and my dog. I also went to elementary, middle school and high school there, where I found the people I truly loved and cared about. My first language is Greek, but I also know how to speak English, and I am an athlete who has played over 6 sports in my life.

Gregory Malsang

Hi, my name is Grégory Malsang, I born in Strasbourg, France, where I spend almost 19 years. 

I'm a squash player, I started to play around 9, since that I traveled all around Europe for tournaments.

Then I traveled to Cairo, Egypt for a year, on of the main place to play squash around the world. 

And after that I joined SLU as a student athlete just after turning 22. 

Kristina Bahl

Kristina Bahl completed her B.A. at St Lawrence in 2024 with a BUSLA and economics double major and a minor in communications. Kristina was the 2023 Richardson scholarship (economics department) recipient and one of the 2024 Tanner Fellowship recipients. Kristina played D1 hockey at St Lawrence and this summer, with the help of the Tanner Fellowship, Kristina completed a 3-week project in the Philippines in which she and five other girls brought the game of hockey to several underprivileged communities.

Lane Haehl

Lane Haehl '25, is from Old Forge, New York, where she graduated as Valedictorian from Town of Webb UFSD in 2021. She is majoring in International Economics - Francophone Studies and Business, minoring in Sports Studies, and is interesting in pursuing a career in sports entertainment. During her time at SLU, she played for the Women's Golf team, is the student assistant coach for the Volleyball team, and has completed multiple internships regarding sports journalism, broadcasting, and media. Additionally, Lane has been inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa and Chi Sigma Alpha honor societies.

Hannah Van Dyke

I am currently a junior at St. Lawrence University, where I am a double major in Business & Psychology with a minor in Sports studies and Exercise Science. I am interested in the business of marketing, particularly in the sports industry. When I am not studying, I love to stay active, do puzzles, be with friends, and play basketball as I am also on the Women’s Basektball team here at SLU.

Hillary Sterling

My name is Hillary Sterling ’25 and I am a student athlete at St. Lawrence University, playing Division I Ice Hockey, and pursuing a double major in Biology and Business in the Liberal Arts and a minor in Public Health. On campus, I am a social media ambassador for the Letters of Love Club, a lead organizer for the Little Saints Big Future Program, and a Women’s Ice Hockey representative in the St. Lawrence University Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

I am originally from Concord, NH where I graduated from St. Paul's School in 2023. I have an older sister and a younger brother. At St. Lawrence, I am a member of the men's lacrosse team. Off the field, I enjoy music and am an avid golfer. I currently work as a pro shop attendant at the SLU golf course during the school year. My ultimate career goal is to be a collegiate or prep-school lacrosse coach. Lacrosse has played an incredibly important role in my life and I want to give back to the game as much as it has given to me.

Poppy Hanson

Poppy Hanson '25 is a Government and Business in the Liberal Arts major at St. Lawrence University. She is the Editor-in-chief of The Underground Magazine and the Opinions Editor for The Hill News. Poppy followed her passion of helping her community and engaging in governmental affairs this past summer while working as a legislative intern for the office of Honorable Representative Rosa L. DeLauro, who represents the third district in Connecticut. 

Charles VonOehsen

Born and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut. Attended New Canaan public schools until sophomore year of high school, where I then transferred to King School in Stamford, Connecticut. Currently enrolled at St. Lawrence University, studying business, digital film/media with a minor in sports studies. I also am a member of the men's varsity basketball team at SLU. My passion for basketball and sports not only has had a heavy influence on my life, but also desired career path. It has lead me to work as a basketball trainer for camps, group and private training for players of all ages.

Mahmoud Ali

Mahmoud is a double-major student in Business in the Liberal Arts, and Digital Media and Film at St. Lawrence University. He had the opportunity to intern at AMCO international for summer 2024 at the marketing and sales department. In addition, he was part of SLU Fellows program for summer 2025 with his creative project of writing a feature-length screenplay under the title of "A Mediterranean Tale."

William (Will) de Chabert

Hello, my name is William (Will) de Chabert and I am a proposed double major in Conservation Biology and Business in the Liberal Arts with a minor in African Studies. I am currently entering my sophomore year at St. Lawrence University. I will be studying abroad during the 2023 fall semester as part of the Kenya Semester Program (KSP). When not occupied by my studies you can find me playing tennis as part of the men's varsity team or in the reptile and amphibian animal and retirement home working to provide animal care under Dr. Hoffman.
