I spent my first week going through training and helping out with Marketing strategies to promote Data Impact's brand on their Linked In and X pages. When my training concluded, I mostly helped out with evaluations of companies performance using the company's tool that scrapes data about their online stores. Mostly, I was developing Power Points showcasing their sales, their out of stock rates and other categories that can ultimately help with profit and efficient activities in their respective markets. I dealt with companies all over the world - Europe, America, Australia and countries like South Korea, Thailand and Indonesia. I was also able to attend meetings where the technology was pitched to different possible clients.
This internship was extremely valuable because it introduced me to dealing with clients and also the pressure of doing important work that will ultimately influence the way a company might change their behavior in the market. Economics and Business involves a lot of math and this internship allowed me to continue using my skills that I have learned during my college education.
