Velma De Fatima Araujo E Monteiro

Velma Monteiro is a junior majoring in Finance and Business with a minor in Communications. Her interests in the finance and business sector are diverse ranging from banking, financial literacy, private equity, financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, and administration and management. She has nurtured a background in regulatory and policy analysis, compliance monitoring, strategic evaluation and research-reporting skills with the Central Bank of Timor-Leste (BCTL, in official language) as a Finance Intern. She envisions herself in a company/institution that invests in its people and culture as she values connection and helping one another learn and grow. Velma hopes to continue developing the skillsets she needs to be successful in the real-world of finance and business.
