Summer 2025
Description

From June to August of 2025, I had the pleasure of interning with the Falmouth Commodores Baseball Team of the Cape Cod Baseball League. The Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) is one of the oldest and most prestigious summer baseball leagues for collegiate talent in the country. It invites hundreds of the top players to have them play against one another for 10 different teams, and show out for MLB scouts present at every game.

I was an Administration & Event Management intern for one of the teams: the Falmouth Commodores. In this role, I had several duties:

  • Communicate with game day events representatives to ensure attendance and guide them through the events.
  • Oversee Game Day Operations Staff to ensure events and operations are running accordingly.
  • Update Neon, our finance database platform with any and all sales from the game.
  • Send thank-you follow-ups and collect feedback from event representatives.
  • Act as administrator and check-in person for the daily Youth Clinic.

These roles were a great way for me to practice being my leadership skills and get aquatinted with running baseball operations. I also used a lot of communication and coordination skills.
