Ryan Krugman
My name is Ryan Krugman, graduating class 24' here at St. Lawrence University. I am planning on majoring in Environmental Studies and Sociology with a minor in Global Studies. As an Environmental Studies and Sociology major I am interested in human-environment relations and the impact they have on both us and our environment. Through various classes here at SLU and an introduction to the field of sustainable food management my interest has shifted more specifically to the socio-environmental impacts of our food production and consumption systems.

I am a rising junior at St Lawrence University majoring in global studies with a topical focus in environmental studies or peace studies and a geographical focus on southeast Asia. I’m pursuing minors in public health and sociology, as I hope to do social justice and non-profit work in grassroots organizing and advocacy.

My name is Ian Clark, I am a current junior at St. Lawrence. I study government as my main focus, with a dual minor in history and global studies.
Sydney Peterson
Projects
Sydney Peterson, class of 2024, is a Neuroscience major at St. Lawrence University. Sydney is on the NCAA nordic ski team at St. Lawrence and on the U.S. national ski team. Her interest in research and skiing led her to research at Montana State University over the summer of 2022, where she studied arsenic toxicity and a novel protein acetone carboxylase.
Kam Omari
Kam Omari '24 is an international student from Beirut, Lebanon. Kam is dedicated to the representative power of the performing arts, especially outside the theatre. Kam's artistic efforts often include advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, racial minorities, and refugees. They hope to become a drama therapist and use their expertise in theatre to assist in the rehabilitation of marginalized individuals around the world.
Valeria Obregon Diaz
Valeria Obregon ’24, is an international student from Tijuana, México. She is majoring in environmental studies and sociology and minoring in gender studies. With that being said, she is highly interested in the role she can play to solve current problems. During her time in St. Lawrence University she has been part of the Sustainability Program and the Digital Scholars Fellowship. On campus she has worked as an Admissions Ambassador, a Spanish Tutor, and in the Art Gallery. Finally, she started SLU Close the Loop an initiative to reduce waste on campus.
Billie McClosky
I am a Multi-language major set to graduate from St. Lawrence in 2024. I have always had a strong love for learning and academia, and utilize opportunities like my most recent projects to learn as much as possible about a topic that relates to my studies and what I hope to do in the future. I work in the Language Resource Center, as a French Language TA, and as an Admissions Ambassador, and I love what I do! I'm glad to have so many opportunities to share SLU with others and help out in anyway I am able.
Sage Lalor

Sage Lalor (she/her) is a St. Lawrence University student who is designing her own major multi-field major called Perpetuating Systems of Privilege and Oppression. She took part in the Adirondack Semester Program during the fall of 2021 making her an Outdoor Studies major, and plans to study abroad with the Kenya Semester fall of 2022 which will give her an African Studies minor. When on campus, she is a part of the Outing Club, SLU Close the Loop and works as a certified Outdoor Program Guide and manages the gear room.

My name is Chris Urban and I am a rising junior ('24) at St. Lawrence University pursuing a B.A. degree in business and economics. My internship experience with 914INC-Westchester Magazine gave me an excellent opportunity to publish meaningful work, build a portfolio of content, and discover more about the publishing industry.
Shea Tomlinson
My name is Shea Tomlinson and I am a member of the Class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. I am majoring in sociology with a minor in public health. I take interest in the field of health policy and healthcare related concerns. In future years, I hope to continue to gain more exposure within the field of health policy.
Jessica Tom
Jessica Tom '24 is currently a junior at St. Lawrence University. She is majoring in Global Studies, with a concentration in Asia. Jessica is interested in pursuing a career in journalism. Because of this interest, Jessica is working as a news editor at The Hill News, continuing what she has learned with NCPR. Her goal is to find another internship relating to journalism in the future.

I am a junior at St. Lawrence University pursuing a BA majoring in Economics and minoring in Government. A graduate of Xavier High School in New York City. After completing my internship this past summer as a Legal Intern at Recycle Track Systems, I am eager and looking to intern summer of '23 in either finance, banking, or sales.
Laura Bolduc

Laura Bolduc is in the graduating class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. She is both a computer science and environmental studies/mathematics combined major. Her interests in both of these fields are what drew her to using machine learning to identify animal presence in game camera images for her SLU fellowship. In the future she hopes to continue this research, improving it to be used commonly for environmental research. On campus she also works as a peer tutor and computer science teaching assistant, along with being a member of the varsity swim team.

Grace Bridge '24 is from Syracuse, New York, and is double majoring in Data Science and Francophone Studies. On campus, Grace is a member of the women's soccer team, an admissions ambassador, and an employee at the athletic center. As a Clare Boothe Luce scholar for the summer of 2022, Grace was able to study sentiment and network analysis through the program of R with Dr. Ivan Ramler.
Melinda Barath
A native of New York, New York, Melinda Barath '24 intends to use a degree in chemistry to pursue a career in pharmacy. When not enjoying the cool weather and snow in Canton, New York, she finds spending time with family in Hungary is also a wonderful pastime.
Hope Donoghue

Hope Donoghue is from River Forest, IL and is a member of the Class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. She is majoring in data science and minoring in mathematics. In the summer of 2022, Donoghue conducted research with Dr. Ivan Ramler on network analysis. She investigated through statistical models what connections or aspects of teammate interactions lead to higher winning percentages for Liberty League soccer teams. On campus, Donoghue is a member of the women's soccer team and also a mentor at the Peterson quantitative resource center.
Leana Dickhens
Leana Dickhens is in the class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. She is on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.She is majoring in Biochemistry and is interested in pharmaceuticals and medicinal synthesis. After her fellowship (summer 2022), she learned that medicinal research is something she would like to pursue in her future. She wants to continue the research from the fellowship as her Senior Year Experience. An internship at a BioTech company is something she would like to do prior to graduating college as well.
