Aaryesha Subedi

Aaryesha is currently pursuing a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics as a part of the 3+2 engineering program. She previously worked as an intern on campus for the research & instructions department of ODY Library and served as the President of Asia Club. She has cultivated a diverse set of interests within the technical field ranging from software engineering, artificial intelligence and data science. She envisions herself contributing to an organization that values innovation, collaboration, and community impact.

I’m Manti Mokone, a sophomore at St. Lawrence University with a strong passion for technology, software engineering, and offensive security. I was born in Lesotho, and my journey has taken me from studying the International Baccalaureate in Tanzania to continuing my education in the United States. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong foundation in backend development with Python and JavaScript, building projects with FastAPI, Django, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.

Luke Josephson

Luke Josephson '26 is a Computer Science major with Education and African Studies minors at St. Lawrence University. He is interested in technology ethics, education systems, conservation, and the intersection between these fields and software development and machine learning. After graduation, Luke intends to pursue both teaching and software jobs in the non-profit sector, with the hope of combining the two into a future career in educational technology.

Hishi Bista

I am Hishi Choden Bista, originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. I am currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Economics, with a strong interest in the field of fintech. I’m fascinated by how technology is transforming finance and opening up new possibilities for innovation in global markets.

Outside of academics, I love traveling and discovering new cultures. Trekking is one of my favorite activities, as it allows me to connect with nature and challenge myself in new ways. I also enjoy painting, which gives me a creative outlet to express my ideas and inspirations.

Eszter Keszthelyi

Hello! 

My name is Eszter Keszthelyi, and I’m originally from Budapest, Hungary. I am currently pursuing a major in Computer Science as part of the 3+2 Engineering program at St. Lawrence University, with plans to graduate in 2027.

Before coming to St. Lawrence, I attended the United World College (UWC) in Hong Kong, where I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program—an experience that deepened my global perspective and curiosity for interdisciplinary learning.

Oleg Efimov

I am originally from Russia and currently a rising senior at St. Lawrence University, pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. Before attending St. Lawrence, I studied at UWC Dilijan in Armenia, an experience that shaped my global perspective and academic interests. As part of my undergraduate education, I also spent a semester studying abroad at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in China, further broadening my international exposure and academic foundation.

Cooper Anderson

Michael (Cooper) Anderson is a Computer Science major and Outdoor Studies minor at St. Lawrence University. As a St. Lawrence University Fellow, he has developed deep learning models for audio classification using TensorFlow and PyTorch. Cooper is also an experienced Teaching Assistant, helping students with programming languages and fundamental CS concepts. His leadership roles include serving as Treasurer for the St. Lawrence Outing Club and as a Wilderness EMT/guide for the Outing Program, managing outdoor excursions and providing emergency medical care.

Amanda Gagne

Amanda Gagne is a member of the Class of 2025 at St Lawrence University. She is a double major in Computer Science and Music. She recently completed a Research Fellowship through the St. Lawrence University Fellows Program investigating the potential role of Artificial Intelligence in hardening software and defending against cyber-attacks. The dynamic future of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity are of particular interest to Amanda. Her goal is to use the knowledge and skills developed during this fellowship in the future as she begins down her career path. 

Norah Kuduk

Projects

Norah Kuduk '25 is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Statistics and is also a swim team member. This has given her a unique perspective on campus when considering the intersection of athletics and academics. As a student-athlete, she seeks to balance the two halves of her college experience by using her experiences to enhance the other. Her personal experience as an athlete was partially the purpose of her summer fellowship project, developing a fitness/physical therapy app for customizable tracking and routines.

Ilkay (Inci) Ucar

Inci Ilkay Ucar is part of the Class of 2026. She is an Economics and Computer Science double major and Mathematics minor from Turkey and a Davis Scholarship Recipient. She graduated from UWC East Africa in Moshi, Tanzania. She was the former Systemic Examining Bias Incident Chair in Thelomathesian Society and currently serving as the Vice President of University Relations. She works in the Student Center as a Student Activities Assistant. She completed an IT and marketing internship in Istanbul at Tahincioglu construction firm during her sophomore summer.

Andraz Seslar

Andraz Seslar hails from Trbovlje, Slovenia, and is a former professional alpine skier. He completed his International Baccalaureate at UWC Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, Andraz is a member of the Class of 2026 at St. Lawrence University, where he is pursuing a double major in Finance and Computer Science. He was honored with the Priest Scholarship Award, which recognizes the sophomore man with the highest academic achievement in his class. On campus, Andraz serves as the president of the Crown Royalties Investment Club, leading it alongside his fellow classmates.

Em Blazonis

My name is Mileena Blazonis but most people call me Em. I am going into my senior year at St. Lawrence university. I am a computer science major with a chemistry minor, although when I started college, I had plans to major in chemistry. When I took my first computer science class in the fall of my sophomore year, that is when I knew that's what I wanted to pursue. Currently my goal is to become a video game designer, but I would be happy working in any part of the CS field. 

 

Eunjin Han

My name is Eunjin Han, and I’m from Seoul, South Korea. I speak Korean, as my first language, and English. 

My motivation for studying multi-language comes from my view of Language. It is my tool for sharing my thoughts and feelings across different cultures. Thus, learning a foreign language means learning a new culture, belief, and life. I hope to expand my experiences by communicating with various people through different languages.

Taonga Soko

I am a Zambian student who after completing my general education requirements and getting my high school diploma spent two years in South Wales, further completing the International Baccalaureate at Atlantic College (UWC) and becoming a Davis Scholar. At St. Lawrence, I am currently a senior studying Computer Science interested in AI, Web programming and Backend Software development.

Mirko Dibra

I am Mirko Dibra, my hometown is Shkoder, Albania, but I have been studying abroad in the past couple of years in Japan and now the US. I have always had this deep passion for Mathematics and number in General so from a young age I have been engaged in numerous Mathematical Olympiads like EMC, Albanian National Math Olympiad, BMO. This passion for numbers has been reflected also in my work goals where I want to work Quantitative Analysis, or even as an Actuary. Hence, I am planning to major in Mathematics and Computer Science. 

James Lubkowitz

My name is James (Jax) Lubkowitz and I am in the class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. At St. Lawrence I study Computer Science and Biology and strive to apply computational aspects and skills to the sciences. I am interested in the field of genetics with a focus on assembly and analysis components. I grew up in Richmond, Vermont and went to Mount Mansfield Union Highschool.  Outside of the classroom, I am the captain of the Nordic ski team and enjoys any and all outdoor activity.

Glendalys Medina

Glendalys Medina is a computer science and creative writing double major here at St.Lawrence University. She spends her time working as the Event Coordinator for La Sociedad, a club dedicated to amplifying Latinx voices in the SLU community. She also is one of this year's Townhouse Coordinators so you can find her building community amongst the senior living space.

I'm soon to be a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , the girl who was socialized into loving the humanities and hating math is now a competent STEM major who solves coding problems in her spare time. People change and grow and I am proud that St. Lawrence has supported that journey for me and I'm excited to continue mine at my next home. 

Brandon Dickson

I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at St. Lawrence University and working to better my programming skills. My passions include people, technology, design and I enjoy problem-solving as I utilize my creativity to find innovative solutions to broadly and common relevant problems. I always strive to give my full potential in my work and to grow individually, as a member of a group/community, as well as in software and technology. My colleagues would describe me as a fast learner and ebullient.

Projects

Laura Bolduc is in the graduating class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. She is both a computer science and environmental studies/mathematics combined major. Her interests in both of these fields are what drew her to using machine learning to identify animal presence in game camera images for her SLU fellowship. In the future she hopes to continue this research, improving it to be used commonly for environmental research. On campus she also works as a peer tutor and computer science teaching assistant, along with being a member of the varsity swim team.

Grace Cicchinelli, Class of 2023 at St. Lawrence University, is a Computer Science Major and Music Minor. Grace is a mentor at the Peterson Quantitative Resource Center, as well as a student technician at the IT Helpdesk in ODY Library. She plays the flute and piccolo in the St. Lawrence University Wind Ensemble, is the inaugural President of the Ultimate Frisbee Team, and is a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society.
