This summer, I had the opportunity to intern at two prominent financial institutions in Slovenia: Nova KBM and UniCredit Bank Slovenia. These experiences were pivotal in shaping my future career aspirations.
At Nova KBM, I interned as a Treasury and Trading Analyst. My responsibilities included participating in market discussions, creating internal reports and presentations, and developing trading indicators in Pine Script to enhance trading performance. This role gave me my first real exposure to the dynamics of financial markets and the intricacies of trading.
Following that, I joined UniCredit's Corporate Finance division at their International Center. Here, I worked directly with clients, including managing communications to ensure the timely return of signed annexes to agreements. This experience allowed me to develop client-facing skills and understand the importance of balancing client needs with business objectives.
Both internships were invaluable learning experiences that solidified my interest in the financial industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to gain such diverse and hands-on experience in a single summer.
