Summer 2025
Description

During my internship at OhBet, I focused on building the web platform that supports the mobile app. OhBet is designed to let users place secure bets with friends, using blockchain technology to handle funds in escrow until the outcome is resolved. My role has been largely on the development side, where I’ve been translating the app’s core idea into a functional website that mirrors and extends the app’s features. It’s been an exciting challenge to bring together backend logic with user-facing components in a way that feels smooth, secure, and trustworthy.

This experience has given me the chance to apply my full-stack skills in a real startup environment. Beyond coding, I’ve been learning how to think about user flows, security concerns, and the overall structure of a betting platform that people can actually rely on. Working on OhBet has helped me grow not just as a developer, but also as someone who understands how technology, finance, and user experience intersect. It feels rewarding to contribute to something innovative and to see my work directly shape the product’s direction.
