Maya Mackey

Maya Mackey '24 is double-majoring in Digital Media and Film, and Performance and Communication Arts. Maya interned at North Country Public Radio, where she produced audio news stories on several different topics, including profiles on local businesses, the return of agricultural education to North Country schools, Indigenous tradition and culture, and mental health awareness and resources for farmers in New York. Her continued work at The Hill News, in both writing and editing capacities, helped her produce articles, as well as social media and digital content for NCPR.

Fiona Reiner

My name is Fiona Reiner and I am in the class of 2024! I am a Business in the Liberal Arts and a Performance and Communications Arts Major. I am interested in pursuing a career in Public Relations, Digital Communications and Marketing. I am a member of the Varsity Swim Team here at St. Lawrence as well as the captain of the men's and women's team. I plan to move to a city post-graduation to start my career. After completing an internship in PR and Digital Communications at Fuse Marketing in VT, I am looking forward to building upon those skills in the future. 

Maryam (Sofia) Zareizadeh

Maryam (Sofia) Zareizadeh '26 from Fasa, Iran. While she has not officially declared her major, she has to double major in Neuroscience and Performance and Communication Arts, following the pre-med track.

Caitlin French

My name is Caitlin French and I am a senior at St. Lawrence University. I am studying Business in the Liberal Arts and Communications. I am interested in pursuing a career in marketing or public relations after graduation. I am passionate about using creative strategy to promote companies and organizations that work to give back or solve issues in our society. I also hope to start a business or non-profit of my own one day.

Badi Kawambwa

Badi Kawambwa '23 is a rising senior from Tanzania, studying communications at St. Lawrence University. She is passionate about social issues and determined to develop skills for a career that combines journalism and communications. Currently, she is an intern at Weave News which reports on humanitarian crises. She is also a Marketing Communications Intern at Mission: Cure where she manages their digital platform and assists in the mission to find innovative treatments and therapies for rare diseases. 

 

Kam Omari

Kam Omari '24 is an international student from Beirut, Lebanon. Kam is dedicated to the representative power of the performing arts, especially outside the theatre. Kam's artistic efforts often include advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, racial minorities, and refugees. They hope to become a drama therapist and use their expertise in theatre to assist in the rehabilitation of marginalized individuals around the world.

My name is Andrew Quigley, and I am a current senior at St. Lawrence. I am a communications major, and some of my interests include; running, soccer, and photography. I am thankful that I am a part of the St. Lawrence community because it has helped me blossom into the talented individual I am today. Whether it is making some of the best friends I ever had or recognizing my newfound talent for photography and pottery, St. Lawrence will always be a place that I call home.

My name is Liya and I am from Kazakhstan, a former-soviet country; therefore, my first language is Russian. Other than my own home country, I lived in Malaysia and Singapore which is how I learned English. Learning English changed my life a lot because it had an impact on my choice of where I decided to go to university.

Lewinski Lopez

Lewinski Lopez goes by Lexi and will be graduating in 2021. She is majoring in Performance & Communication Arts and her focus is performance. She has been performing in theatre spaces for as long as she can remember and she chose to focus her research on solo performances so that could lead her down the path of writing her own solo performance. Lewinski hopes to use what she learned about solo performances as a way to guide her in the creative process of writing her own solo show.

Autumn Sherman (Class of 2023) is majoring in mathematics, and performance and communication arts. She plans to have mathematics as her primary major. Her fellowship project is on the crossing numbers of graphs, a newer research area within graph theory. She enjoys the study of theoretical mathematics. She plans, with her mentor Dr. Natasha Komarov, to continue her crossing number research during her years at St. Lawrence.
