I am currently a senior at St. Lawrence University from Severna Park, Maryland. Throughout my years here, I've been lucky enough to be a part of the varsity lacrosse program and crown royalties investment club. Pursuing a double major In Business In the Liberal Arts and Economics, coupled with a statistics minor, has allowed me to explore my interests in finance while building upon my analytical and quantitative skills.
I am Sajida from Gilgit, Pakistan. I am a member of the Class of 2024, majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Statistics at St. Lawrence University. Previously, I did my International Baccalaureate from UWC Costa Rica. At SLU I am involved at various leadership roles like community assistant, student worker at the Launder's Science Library, Intern at the Language Resource Center and Student Researcher. I am interested in research that focuses on behavior analysis in the lab, hence working as a student researcher in the Experimental Analysis of Behavior (EAB) Lab with Dr.
My name is Riku Tatsuzuki, from Tokyo, Japan. I study Economics as my major and minoring in Statistics here at St. Lawrence. My native language is Japanese and also fluent in English. I love watching movies, going skiing, playing soccer and lacrosse. I have a twin brother who lives in Vancouver.
Alexandra Hill '23, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, is a triple major in English, French, and mathematics, with a minor in statistics. Her passion for mental health is a keystone for much of her academia; she presented her research on mental health accessibility in writing centers at a national conference in 2021, and her three senior honors projects each respectively analyze mental health in literature in unique ways.
Yanfei Mao' 21 is a senior student who comes from China with double majoring in Psychology and Music. She has been interested in positive psychology and especially the relationship between character strength and positive outcomes in academic context. Currently, she continues working on this project by analyzing another dataset from MTurk and tries to create an appropriate strength intervention in academic context based on the results to improve college students’ academic achievements and happiness.
Her name is Shiru Kimani and she is a junior planning to graduate in May 2022. She is majoring in International Economics and Multilanguage with a minor in Statistiscs. Her passions are networking and indulging in all the cultures of the world. In this project, Shiru wanted to combine her interests in learning about her Kenyan origin and love for world economic relations. She is looking forward to expanding this project in her senior year.
