My name is Riku Tatsuzuki, from Tokyo, Japan. I study Economics as my major and minoring in Statistics here at St. Lawrence. My native language is Japanese and also fluent in English. I love watching movies, going skiing, playing soccer and lacrosse. I have a twin brother who lives in Vancouver.

I left my country to follow my passion for ski racing when I was 16 years old which helped me decide to go to a winter sports academy in Vermont. Since I was young I found a passion for ski racing and believed that studying and training in the United States is the best option to achieve my dream.

After 3 years of high school and 1 year of post-graduate term, I decided to commit to the part of St. Lawrence University because many of my high school friends study here. St. Lawrence University gave me opportunities to connect with people from all around the world and helped me to be open-minded the global-wise problems.

My favorite food is Japanese food and especially Ramen, not Sushi. I can probably eat ramen faster than anyone else.
