Class Year:

I am a current senior at SLU, I am double majoring in Psychology and Statistics with a minor in African Studies. Through my time at SLU, I've cultivated a deep-rooted interest in how the complexities of human behavior coupled with the use of quantitative data-analysis impact the international educational landscape.

My recent semester in Kenya has furthered this interest, providing me with invaluable firsthand experience living, working, and studying across various cultures.

My diverse set of skills has allowed me to think critically about the global education landscape. I have been particularly drawn to the potential of data-driven approaches to improve educational outcomes that address equity and access challenges. My recent experiences have solidified my belief in the power of quantitative methods to inform evidence-based policies and interventions.

I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute to organizations and research projects that explore the intersection of international education and human behavior. I am particularly interested in investigating topics such as: the impact of educational policies on student outcomes, the role of extracurricular activities in student development, and the factors influencing cultural exchange and understanding, particularly within the classroom setting.

I am excited about the prospect of working with educators, researchers, and practitioners to leverage data-driven insights to improve educational policies and opportunities worldwide.
