Allee Mack

Allee Mack '24 is from Marietta, New York where she graduated from Onondaga Central High School in 2020. She is majoring in Government and minoring in History, and she is interested in pursuing a career in politics. During her time at SLU, Allee served as the Student Delegate to the Board of Trustees, the Secretary for SLU Advocates, and a student ambassador for the Andrew Goodman Foundation. Additionally, Allee received the Harry Reiff Junior Government Major Scholarship Award and the Meg Flaherty Student Leadership Award.

Melissa Perez Sancho

Melissa is a Government combined with African Studies major and a History minor. Before studying at St. Lawrence University, Melissa studied at United World College Costa Rica, the country where she grew up. Upon arriving at St. Lawrence University, Melissa discovered a passion for East African History and politics, which led her to study in the Kenya Semester Program during the Spring of 2022. Melissa began her research journey in Kenya, focusing on rural Kenyan women's land and property rights.

Grace Vensel

Grace Vensel '21 is double majoring in Global Studies and Francophone Studies, as well as minoring in History. She is particularly interested in the historical construction of imperialism and how it is manifested today. Grace is additionally interested in resistance to systems of power. Her experiences studying abroad in Bordeaux, France, as well as traveling to Dakar, Senegal with Dr. Eloise Brezault drove her desire to research the CFA franc in Senegal.
