My name is Vladimir Iglesias, and I am currently a senior majoring in Economics and Government at St. Lawrence University. Originally from El Salvador, I was born and raised there, with my educational journey beginning at Highlands International School San Salvador. In 2020, I proudly graduated from Highlands, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another at St. Lawrence University.
Throughout my time at St. Lawrence, I have pursued my academic interests in Economics and Government. Alongside my academic commitments, I have actively engaged in various opportunities that St. Lawrence University has offered. From competing in the Squash Team to fostering connections through SLU Connect, I have been able to enrich my university experience. In addition, I have been able to work with the Admissions Office as an Admissions Ambassador, as a Research and Teaching Assistant for the Economics Department, and as a Career Exploration Intern at the Center for Career Excellence, aiding students in their professional pursuits.
Looking ahead, I am excited to leverage the skills and knowledge I've acquired during my time at St. Lawrence University to make meaningful contributions within the fields of Economics and Government.
