Troy Jorgensen is a sophomore at St. Lawrence University, planning on majoring in Biology and participating in the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Early Acceptance Program. 

He is interested in medicine and plans to utilize his internship experience to guide him through medical school and his future endeavors within the medical field. Troy has several experiences working in medical offices and accompanying physicians in practice, specifically in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has also conducted research on Statin Induced Myopathy alongside medical students and residents to be published. 

In 2021, Troy co-founded the Adirondack Solar Alliance, which is a student run, non-profit organization from New York, partnered with the Let's Share the Sun Foundation, working to provide reliable solar energy to underprivileged homes in Puerto Rico. With his colleagues, he raised over $100,000 total from presenting to local companies in hopes of receiving donations for the solar panels.
