Aiden Sax, Class of 2026, is a senior at St. Lawrence University, double-majoring in political science and biology. Over the past year, he has become deeply invested in public service. He has held the position of congressional intern in the office of Representative Joseph Morelle, gaining experience in the legislative process. Additionally, he has worked for the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, studying Western Hemisphere defense.

      Rory Sauereisen is an undergraduate student at St. Lawrence University majoring in Biology and minoring in Statistics. Interested in genomics, pathogens, and the immune system, she enjoys applying quantitative and computational methods to investigate questions in healthcare and epidemiological trends. On campus Rory worked as a biology TA, leads within the club ski team, and is an avid member of both Omicron Delta Kappa and Tri-Beta biological honors societies.

Amelia Nicholas, St. Lawrence Class of 2026, is a biology major and African studies and chemistry minor from Winchester, Massachusetts. On campus, she is captain of the Women's Soccer Team, president of Campus Kitchens, and an EMT for SLU EMS. During the Spring of 2025, she studied abroad in Kenya, where she explored the country, culture, and much more. During her internship abroad, she worked at a community health center in Kibera, Nairobi, where she explored the healthcare system by helping patients in a clinical setting.

Abby Gallas, Class of 2028, is an intending on majoring in Biology with an SSES minor, she has a strong interest in exercise science and sports performance. She intends to obtain her Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and attend physical therapy school after her undergraduate studies. Abby works as a strength & conditioning intern at St. Lawrence University through the OCIP program, she further developed her skills as a Sports Performance Intern at Yale University this summer. I am a biology major with a minor in sports studies and exercise science, pursuing a career in strength and conditioning. Currently, I am interning at St. Lawrence as an assistant strength coach, working with several teams on campus. When I am not coaching or training, I like to participate in the St. Lawrence Sailing Club, of which I am a secretary, and play golf. I am from Summit, New Jersey, and grew up playing Ice hockey and Lacrosse, I spend the summer with my grandparents on the New Jersey Shore where I grew up sailing and eventually worked as a sailing coach for 4 years.

Neva Bettinger is a Biology major with a minor in Sports Studies and Exercise Science. As a first-generation college student, she is motivated to excel academically while preparing for a career in physical therapy. She is also a member of Tri-Alpha Honor Society, which recognizes and supports first-generation student achievement. On campus, Neva is a Thrive Mentor, Vice President of the Agape Christian Club, and a member of the Pre-Health Club. She also contributes as a teaching assistant for General Biology and General Chemistry, and works as a student athletic trainer.

I am an ambitious student at St. Lawrence University, pursuing a Biology major. My academic interests are driven by my deep passion for the medical field and human anatomy.

I aspire to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner, requiring additional rigorous schooling that will expand my medical knowledge to a professional level. My eagerness to learn and help others has been recently fulfilled by shadowing physical and occupational therapists, as well as interning in the OB/GYN department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Hello! I am Aidan Fauth, currently a rising senior from Keene, New Hampshire. I am a Biology and Statistics double major. I am member of the men's soccer team and a student mentor in the Peterson Quantitative Resource Center on campus. I want to pursue a career in research that combines my passion for biology and the environment with my interests in statistics and mathematics. My current research includes using audio recorders and camera traps to better understand the terrestrial vertebrate community in St.

Lars Fattinger '28 is a double major in Geology and Biology with a minor in Outdoor Leadership. They are fascinated by the field of paleoclimatology - analyzing geological records to better understand past environmental conditions and the forces shaping our planet today. Specifically, they are interested in pursuing research related to tree rings, ice cores, and glacial terrains to interpret past climates.

Hello! My name is Ravi Pavana and I am currently a third year at St. Lawrence University. My hometown lies in Davis, CA and I hold a strong passion for sports. My goals are to learn more and build skills that will help me enjoy life to the fullest.

I am a member of the 2025 class at St. Lawrence University, and I plan to attend physical therapy school following graduation. I have experience as an intern in the field, spanning performing arts, geriatric and general populations. My interests in the performing arts carry into my passion for dance, which I hope to carry into my future career. I aspire to work with dancers and Broadway performers. My experience at SPEAR physical therapy has enabled me to begin my journey on the pathway to becoming a performing arts physical therapist. 

Haley Morland '25 is an aspiring Veterinarian who cares deeply about animals. She is a Biology major with a Psychology minor doing research in Animal Behavior. Haley spends her time at St. Lawerence as a Varsity athlete on the riding team and as an influential member of the vivarium where she does research and cares for the lab animals. Additionally she uses her experience in the sciences to tutor her peers, and is a teaching assistant for Dr. Fox's course, Learning and Behavior.

My name is Hillary Sterling ’25 and I am a student athlete at St. Lawrence University, playing Division I Ice Hockey, and pursuing a double major in Biology and Business in the Liberal Arts and a minor in Public Health. On campus, I am a social media ambassador for the Letters of Love Club, a lead organizer for the Little Saints Big Future Program, and a Women’s Ice Hockey representative in the St. Lawrence University Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

Edward Habeck ’24 is a Biology and Anthropology double major at St. Lawrence University, interested in paleogenetics, microbiology, and bioarchaeology.

Seth Bailey is a part of the class of 2025 at St. Lawrence University. He is majoring in Biology and is on the Pre-Dental track. After graduating from St. Lawrence he plans on going to Dental school to become a Dentist. He plans to also specialize in Orthodontics and one day run his own orthodontist office. At St. Lawrence he is a part of the Golf team, a Co-President of the Pre-Health club, and a peer tutor.

Elizabeth Camp '25 is majoring in Biology with a minor in Sports Studies and Exercise Science at St. Lawrence University. Ellie is following the Pre-Physical Therapy track that St. Lawrence offers. She also is a part of the women's lacrosse team at SLU and has always had a passion for sports, exercising, etc., ever since her childhood. She interned at Cioffredi & Associates Physical Therapy over the 2023 summer where she served as a Rehabilitation Aide and shadowed under multiple well-known doctors of PT.

Caitlin Erb (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2023 class of St. Lawrence University. She double majored in Anthropology and Biology, double minored in Public Health and African Studies, and hopes to take a gap year before pursuing a graduate degree in Anthropology. Her academic interests lie within Biological Anthropology and Biology; however, they are focused on Bioarcheology and Paleopathology.

My name is James (Jax) Lubkowitz and I am in the class of 2024 at St. Lawrence University. At St. Lawrence I study Computer Science and Biology and strive to apply computational aspects and skills to the sciences. I am interested in the field of genetics with a focus on assembly and analysis components. I grew up in Richmond, Vermont and went to Mount Mansfield Union Highschool.  Outside of the classroom, I am the captain of the Nordic ski team and enjoys any and all outdoor activity.

I am a senior at St. Lawrence University with a double major in Biology and Anthropology. I hope to go to physical therapy school after taking a gap year upon my graduation in the spring of 2024. I am a captain of the women's soccer team, love to read, bake, hike, and hang out with my friends and family. I love being around people and can't wait to help others to heal in my future profession. 

Bryan Placide is a First-Generation Senior here at St. Lawrence University majoring in Biology and minoring in Education. He is also an Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program scholar. Bryan's goal is to pursue a Masters in Education in the years to come. This would essentially make him the first person in his family to do so. 

May Buckingham is in the graduating class of 2023, and is majoring in Biology with a focus on Ecology. May has great interest in ornithology, wildlife protection, and habitat preservation and restoration. May is also a member of St. Lawrence University's Outing Club.

Hello, my name is Dakota Lazore, class of 2024. I'm a first generation college student from the Akwesasne reservation an hour away from St. Lawrence University. I'm planning to major in biology, and after I graduate from SLU I plan to attend medical school to become a Radiologist. 

Karina Bellavia '22 is a biology major with an interest in entomology. During her summer research, she studied the behavior of the robber fly species Lasiopogon currani at Glenmeal State Forest, NY. Karina is continuing her research as an Honors thesis throughout her senior year. She also plans to attend graduate school and pursue a PhD in Ecology after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys road cycling, hiking, baking, and looking at insects in the wild.

I am a senior at St. Lawrence majoring in biology and minoring in gender and sexuality studies. I am in the process of applying to graduate programs with the ultimate goal of obtaining a doctorate of nursing. I want to focus my research and clinical practice on women's health and LGBTQ+ health.
