Chloe Coberley ‘25 is a first-generation student majoring in Anthropology with an interest in Museum curation and collections management. Growing up in a blue-collar community in NW Montana led Chloe to develop a passion for education and learning. She seeks to inspire a similar passion in others through museum curation. Chloe is looking to develop her skills in curation and collections management through internship placements and continued partnerships with those in the profession.
Violet Schwartz is a student at St Lawrence University in the class of 2025. She is completing a major in Anthropology and Studio Art and a minor in Education Studies. Violet is a St Lawrence University Outing Club member and spends much of her time in the Adirondack Mountains. This has sparked an interest in understanding the natural environment and ecosystems of the North Country and understanding how to support them.

She double majored in Anthropology and Biology, double minored in Public Health and African Studies, and hopes to take a gap year before pursuing a graduate degree in Anthropology. Her academic interests lie within Biological Anthropology and Biology; however, they are focused on Bioarcheology and Paleopathology.
My name is Zoie Lehman, I am 21 years old, and am a current senior at St. Lawrence University. I was raised by a single mother in Lewis County, New York. It has been my mom and I my entire life, and our story has not always been for the faint hearted. My biological father walked out before I was a year old, and for my mom, raising a child on her own was not easy.
I am a senior at St. Lawrence University with a double major in Biology and Anthropology. I hope to go to physical therapy school after taking a gap year upon my graduation in the spring of 2024. I am a captain of the women's soccer team, love to read, bake, hike, and hang out with my friends and family. I love being around people and can't wait to help others to heal in my future profession.

Gavin Prescott '23 is a major in Anthropology and a minor in Biology. He has specific interests in the field of bioarchaeology with a focus on forensic anthropology. Gavin Prescott is also the president of the Anthropology Club at Saint Lawrence University.

Abby is part of the class of '23 at St. Lawrence University. She is a captain of club rugby, the president of the scuba diving club, and a lover of the outdoors. She wanted to be working in the outdoors no matter what she did beyond school, so she took a focus in archaeology. She hopes to combine her love for archaeology and scuba diving in the future, studying marine archaeology and or doing marine preservation in any way. Taking care of nature and the creatures in it, is a high priority in Abby's interests and will be the direction she plans on going in the future.
Craig Wilkes (he/him) is a senior from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey studying Anthropology and Statistics. This summer, Craig was able to do research in Anthropology through the SLU fellows program. His research focuses on the ways in which the Covid-19 pandemic affected funeral directors' work and the mourning process. This topic was inspired by an Anthropology course that covers how people and cultures deal with death, and was developed with the help of his faculty mentors.
Being raised by a single mother in a provincial Russian town, I am adept at setting goals and striving to achieve them, despite the challenges I have encountered. As a minority within my own country’s administrative division, Adygea Republic, I have always strived for diversity and inclusion of identities, experiences, and ideas. With such a mindset and a strong passion for natural sciences, I sought opportunities to enrich my scientific environment and learn from the expertise of an international community.
Hi, I'm Alessandro Marangelli '24 and I use He/ They pronouns. I am an International student from Italy and a UWC alumn. I am double majoring in Anthropology and Environmental Studies, and minoring in Global Studies. I decided to study these fields because I am interested in the intersection of environmental, cultural, spiritual, physical, and social sustainability because I am a firm believer that there is no real sustainability without all of them and equality and equity.
Yuchen Liang is an international student majoring in Anthropology and the Liberal Arts of Business. As an insider of Chinese society, this project helps Yuchen to reflect on the cultural and social context of her life and use anthropological sight to examine them. This project also gives Yuchen the preparation for getting into graduate school.
