Hanna Nelson is an international student at St. Lawrence University, she is in the class of 2027 and she is from Kerala, also known as "God's own country" - a state in the south of India. Hanna would like to major in Psychology also she is interested in Government studies. As a person who grew up in a huge diverse country - in religions as well as in languages which is more than 100, Hanna has learned to accept others' opinions and respect others' beliefs from a small age. And also as a person who was strictly raised with the background of Pentecostal-Christianity, Hanna is very religious - and she strives to live her life in a biblical way as much as possible.
Being the only child of her parents, Hanna never felt she was alone while growing up as she had her parents by her side as friends all the time - for Hanna, her parents are her best friends first and the most important people in her life. Hanna loves to travel all over India with her mother as a part of the gospel ministry mission – even though she does not do anything there, she loves meeting new people and trying to comfort people who have been in pain, over the years during those trips she has learned that for people in distress, they only need someone’s presence to make them feel good. Hanna wants to join her mother on her mission trips after her graduation, not to stand aside like in the past but to help those people as a professional.

अपने माता-पिता की इकलौती संतान होने के नाते, हन्ना को बड़े होने के दौरान कभी भी यह महसूस नहीं हुआ कि वह अकेली है क्योंकि उसके माता-पिता हर समय दोस्तों के रूप में उसके साथ थे - हन्ना के लिए, उसके माता-पिता पहले उसके सबसे अच्छे दोस्त हैं और उसके जीवन में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण लोग हैं। हन्ना को सुसमाचार मंत्रालय मिशन के एक हिस्से के रूप में अपनी मां के साथ पूरे भारत में यात्रा करना पसंद है - भले ही वह वहां कुछ नहीं करती है, लेकिन उसे नए लोगों से मिलना और उन यात्राओं के दौरान उन लोगों को सांत्वना देने की कोशिश करना पसंद है जो वर्षों से दर्द में हैं। उसने सीखा है कि संकट में फंसे लोगों को अच्छा महसूस कराने के लिए केवल किसी की उपस्थिति की आवश्यकता होती है। हन्ना अपनी स्नातक स्तर की पढ़ाई के बाद अपनी माँ के साथ उनकी मिशन यात्राओं में शामिल होना चाहती है, अतीत की तरह एक तरफ खड़े रहने के लिए नहीं बल्कि एक पेशेवर के रूप में उन लोगों की मदद करने के लिए।
