Steven J. Pardee '78 Internship Fellowship

This summer, I had the opportunity to intern at Shimizudani High School in Osaka, Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT). I was afforded this opportunity through the Kansai Gaidai Internship Program (KGIP), a program setup through Kansai Gaidai University where I had previously studied. The KGIP allows for Kansai Gaidai international students to work in various industries around Japan, an opportunity most spring at as it also gives them a chance to experience a deeper dive into Japanese culture.

The purpose of the Ravencrest Summer Camps is to make Christ known and glorify Him. We do this by having Youth Groups spend 1 week at Ravencrest Chalet and leading them in various outdoor activities, bible studies and having fellowship together. Located 10 minutes outside of Estes Park, CO, and 20 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, Ravencrest is a wonderful playing ground to see and experience God's creation. Us Program Interns lead hikes, rock climbing, paddleboarding, mountain biking, archery, low ropes course, and airsoft.
