My name is Ariana Chiarenzelli, and I am from a local town, Potsdam, New York. I’m a student of the St. Lawrence University class of 2026, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Statistics. I’ve used my liberal arts education to the fullest by taking a broad range of classes throughout my time here, giving me a diverse and well-rounded education. Studying psychology at SLU has provided me with valuable knowledge and tools to help me succeed in my future goals. I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to learn from the amazing faculty in the department. This summer, I completed an internship at the North Country Children’s Museum, a local non-profit that focuses on sparking kids’ education through hands-on play. Working there and at many other positions in children's education, such as substitute teaching and teaching dance lessons, I have gained a wide range of experience. I will continue to get my master's degree in elementary education in the spring of 2026, in the hopes of eventually obtaining a local teaching job.
