Semester:
Summer 2026
Description

This summer, I had the privilege to serve as an intern audio visual tech at Rock The House Entertainment. Rock the House is a nationally recognized production house, serving Fortune 500 corporate clients and major music festival productions. During my internship, I had the opportunity to serve as A1 and A2 audio engineer across major music events, corporate productions, and weddings, building fluency in technical riders and industry-standard live sound equipment. I organized load-in and load-out logistics for large-scale events and major festivals, working alongside production crews to conduct run-of-show on tight timelines. Finally, I orchestrated prep and de-prep of gear inventory across concurrent multi-day festivals, ensuring equipment readiness and accurate tracking. Through this internship I was able to broaden my expertise in live production as well as gain useful knowledge of audio, lighting, staging, and coordinating the full lifecycle of a large-scale live event. Furthermore, I was able to align with the positions I will seek in the future that best fit my strengths. Thanks to the generosity of the Brindisi Family Internship Fellowship, I was able to position myself in a role that furthered and enriched my career experience, while exposing me to connections that will unlock the next chapter of my professional journey.
