This summer, Jackson interned for Junie Joseph, a member of Boulder (CO) City Council. He had some amazing experiences where he leaned a lot, such as managing a campaign for the Executive Board of a statewide organization; handling constituent outreach by writing newsletters, drafting and sending emails that were seen by 1,000's of people, crafting political posters, and calling constituents; networking with politicians, staffers, and organizational leaders alike; and writing an op-ed on the importance of local elections that was published in the Daily Camera, the local newspaper in Boulder County.
