This past summer, I interned at VIMI.co in Bangkok, Thailand, as a Lead Finance & Operations Intern. I worked across the company’s B2B lead generation platform, b2bLEAD.ai, as well as client accounts in the precious metals and real estate industries. My work included market research, lead generation, data analysis, and content creation.
One of my main projects involved building and cleaning prospect lists across several industries, evaluating potential clients based on their business needs and pain points. I also supported client-specific projects, including developing a 20-page KYC intake form with approximately 40 conditional logic rules and AML due diligence sections for J. Rotbart & Co. Additionally, I contributed to writing blogs on precious metals and market trends for J. Rotbart & Co.
Working with clients across different industries gave me a broader understanding of how businesses use data, market research, and financial information to make informed decisions. My experience in Thailand strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills while giving me valuable insight into international business and the ways finance connects to business strategy and operations.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the VIMI.co team and experience an international business environment. I am also deeply thankful to the Freeman Program, the Center for Career Excellence, and the donors whose support made this experience possible. This opportunity allowed me to grow professionally, step outside my comfort zone, and gain an experience that I will carry with me throughout my career.
