Emily Siansky

Emily Siansky '26 is a Digital Media and Film major and Communications minor, and is from Olney, Maryland. The main focus of her studies lies in advocacy for women in sports. As a member of the Saint's Softball Team, her perspective as a student athlete guides a lot of her career and academic goals. She has experience in social media content creation and graphic design. As she enters her senior year, she hopes to finish her academic career at SLU strong, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. In the future, Emily hopes to work in Sports Information or Athletic Communications.

Velma Monteiro is a junior majoring in Finance and Business with a minor in Communications. Her interests in the finance and business sector are diverse ranging from banking, financial literacy, private equity, financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, and administration and management. She has nurtured a background in regulatory and policy analysis, compliance monitoring, strategic evaluation and research-reporting skills with the Central Bank of Timor-Leste (BCTL, in official language) as a Finance Intern.

Alexis Ward

Alexis Ward '26 is majoring in English on the Creative Writing track and minoring in Performance and Communication Arts (PCA). Although she loves all forms of creative writing, she is especially fond of the revision process and hopes to go into copy editing upon graduation. Her academic and creative works have been published in The Underground and The Laurentian Magazine. She is also an assistant at the Owen D.

Kristina Bahl

Sticks Together Volunteer Outreach, Philippines

Kristina Bahl completed her B.A. at St Lawrence in 2024 with a BUSLA and economics double major and a minor in communications. Kristina was the 2023 Richardson scholarship (economics department) recipient and one of the 2024 Tanner Fellowship recipients. Kristina played D1 hockey at St Lawrence and this summer, with the help of the Tanner Fellowship, Kristina completed a 3-week project in the Philippines in which she and five other girls brought the game of hockey to several underprivileged communities.

Zach Jaworski

Zach Jaworski '24 is a Government major with minors in German Studies and Performance and Communication Arts. Zach interned with North Country Public Radio, where he produced democracy-related audio features, voter and election trends data reports and the impacts of local government policies. Zach is graduating in December 2024, and in his final semester he is looking to use the skills he learned at NCPR in his capacity as Editor-in-Chief of The Hill News, St. Lawrence's student newspaper. He will also continue to cover democracy for NCPR through the 2024 general elections.

Macallister Ballaine

I am a senior at St. Lawrence University. I am from Seattle, Washington and am a Data Science major with a Communications minor. Outside of the classroom I am president of the Delta Delta Delta sorority on campus and a Student Ambassador for Admissions. In my spare time I like to long distance run and am running the New York City marathon in November. 

Carmiña Goya

Carmiña Goya '25 from Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina is pursuing a major in Studio Art, accompanied by a minor in Performance and Communication Arts. Her chosen field of study revolves around the art of printmaking, specifically focusing on linocut, woodcuts, drypoints, and screenprinting. In the future, Carmiña intends to return to her homeland to apply the knowledge and skills she has acquired during her time in the United States. Carmiña's goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the artistic scene and history of Latin America in the context of graphic arts.
