Keith Omane-Agyei ’26 is a neuroscience major pursuing a minor in public health. His academic interests focus on the intersection of brain health and population health, particularly the neurological consequences that can arise during maternal health complications. He is interested in exploring how biological, social, and environmental factors during pregnancy and childbirth can contribute to long-term neurological damage, as well as strategies to address and mitigate these outcomes. Future research paths include investigating maternal health disparities and their effects on neurological development. Keith plans to pursue a career in neurosurgery while also contributing as a public health researcher, working to address critical maternal health issues worldwide.
