My name is Wanjiru Mwathi. I am from a small town in Kenya called Nakuru. I speak Kikuyu, my first language, Swahili and English, and I am currently learning Spanish.
I love cooking. My favorite food is mokimo and barbecue chicken. Back home, I always longed to prepare dishes with my family because it always brought us together.
Cultural heritage holds a special place in my heart. I love travelling to countries that are rich in upholding their positive cultural beliefs as I enjoy learning about other people’s traditions. I am deeply rooted in my Kikuyu culture, and I love showcasing it whenever I get the chance to.
Growing up in a place with poor health services, my end goal is to make progressive changes in the healthcare system in Kenya.
My greatest value is kindness to myself and to others, and I try to live by this every day.

Mimi hujaribu kufanya hivi kila kuchao.
