Sophye Davey

My name is Sophye Davey, and I am from Darien, Connecticut. I am pursuing a double major in history and political science with a strong interest in historical preservation and using digitization to make history more accessible. My local history has shaped my sense of identity, and I am committed to helping others connect with their own communities' pasts in meaningful ways.

Beyond my academics, I am an avid hiker, having hiked over 350 miles on the Appalachian Mountain Trail and completed the Tour De Mont Blanc in the European Alps. Reading is one of my favorite ways to learn; I enjoy a wide range of books, including political analyses, Russian history, and the occasional novel. On campus, I am a proud member of the Chi Omega sorority.
