Renate Børstad Jakobsen

My name is Renate Børstad Jakobsen, and I am in the class of 2026. I am a geology major and a data science minor from Bodø, Norway. Previously I attended United World College Atlantic, an international baccalaureate program in Wales. On campus, I am active in both social and academic clubs. On the social side, I volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and am co-president of a women's fishing club. On the academic side, I am active in both the Geology Club and Sigma Gamma Epsilon. After graduation, I hope to further my geology education with a master's degree within rock magnetism.
