Alice Khalil

Alice Khalil ’27 is a senior at St. Lawrence University majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry, on an MD/PhD track. Originally from Syria, she attended UWC Atlantic College in Wales before continuing her studies in the United States. Alice's academic interests center on neural circuit development and behavior, building on research experience in mitochondrial dysfunction and stress responses using C. elegans models. Outside the lab, she is an EMT and Stop the Bleed instructor, and has volunteered with organizations supporting children's health and education. She hopes to pursue a career bridging clinical medicine and neuroscience research.
