Class Year:

Alexandra is a rising senior at St. Lawrence University, where she is double majoring in Political Science (with a concentration in International Relations) and History, with a minor in European Studies. My research examines how war and conflict affect women’s lived experiences, with particular attention to the negotiation, recognition, and denial of reproductive rights in conflict settings. I aspire to pursue a career in which I support and amplify minority voices globally, with the aim of advancing justice and contributing to sustainable peace. On campus, she serves as president of the St. Lawrence University chapter of Planned Parenthood Generation Action, an organization dedicated to advocating for reproductive rights, providing inclusive sexual health education, and mobilizing students in support of reproductive justice. She intends to continue her academic journey through graduate studies abroad, further deepening her focus on international relations, gender, and human rights, and ultimately pursue a career in diplomacy dedicated to advancing justice and building sustainable peace.
