Luis Alejandro Moncada González
My name is Alex Moncada, I was born and raised in the State of Mexico. My primary language is Spanish and English as a second language. Since I was 6 I started practicing squash. I have compited in US, Canada and England (the best juniors squash tournaments) and reached top 3 in my junior career in Mexico. In my last year of High School I moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico; A small town far away from the society and next to the best beaches in the Caribbean Ocean. In this place I started practicing triathlon as physical and mental training and started competing in Sprints and Half Ironmans distances. I get in loved in this sport, because I met awesome people and I spent really good times with them.
I found St. Lawrence as a way to reach my academic goals and continue training in the things I like to do. Here at SLU I´m in the varsity squash team which it is filled of excellent players and really cool guys.
I enjoy talking about history, sports, movies, etc. I'm a really chill person and I like surrounding me with people with great positive energy.

Mi nombre es Alex Moncada, nací en el Estado de México muy cerca de la ciudad de México. Mi idioma es el español y como segundo el Inglés. Desde que tenía 6 años empecé a practicar squash. He competido en los torneos más importantes alrededor del mundo, como el US, Canadian Junior Open y el British. Todo mi vida he sido un chico muy deportista. En mi último año de Preparatoria, me mudé a Playa del Carmen, un lugar mágico y tranquilo con las playas más hermosas de México. En este lugar empecé a practicar triatlón, el cuál me enamoré de este deporte por todas las amistades que hice y los buenos momentos que pasamos juntos. Encontré a St. Lawrence como una forma de logras mis metas académicas y seguir con mis entrenamientos aquí. Actualmente estoy en el equipo de squash en SLU. Soy una persona muy tranquila y llena de energía para hacer cualquier cosa al aire libre. Me gusta platicar con mis amigos y pasar buen tiempo con ellos.
