Description

In 2026, Will worked as an Audio-Visual intern with Rock the House Entertainment Group in Bedford Heights, Ohio. As an intern, some of his responsibilities included inventorying equipment within the warehouse, ensuring that all required equipment is shipped to events, working on site with load-in and load-out, functioning as an audio technician on various corporate and concert events and generally learning what it takes to produce live events. His primary goal for the internship was to gain experience with live event audio engineering and become more competent with the equipment. Some notable events Will worked on were the American Heart Association's Heart and Stroke ball, two events at the Twinsburg Amphitheater and and the MGK Day festival. He functioned as the primary audio technician for two small events which provided him with the confidence to pursue more advanced audio engineering. This internship provided Will with a deeper comprehension of the intricacies of live event production, including audio-visual equipment competency and general workflow understanding. He is grateful for the opportunity to work in such dynamic and ever-changing environments that are characteristic of the industry. Despite this experience in production, Will is seeking employment in festival relations and/or music management. Having production knowledge helps Will be more versatile in his understanding of live events and prepares him for success in his search for employment in the music industry.
