Peter Stubler is a student-athlete at St. Lawrence University, studying Chemistry and Mathematics as well as being a member of the varsity cross country and track and field teams. He was born in Andover, Massachusetts, attended Andover High School, where he fostered his love for athletics, as well as the sciences. He came into St. Lawrence University as a freshman initially majoring in mathematics. However it was during his sophomore year taking general chemistry where he developed his love for the field. Eventually, as a junior he decided to make the switch to a chemistry major, with his math background giving him a strong support for analysis and calculations necessary for chemistry. His summer project: Electrochemical Profile of Methyl Orange was his first summer research project, after switching majors and it was here where he discovered his love for doing research. After graduating from St. Lawrence, he hopes to earn a Ph.D. and continue doing chemical research.
