Lauren Bier is a Biomedical Science and Psychology double major with a minor in Chemistry at St. Lawrence University, originally from Watertown, NY. She is actively involved on campus as the Vice President of the Advocates, the Risk Manager of Kappa Delta Sigma, the Secretary of the Pre-Health Club, and the Recruitment Chair for Ducks Unlimited. Academically, she maintains a strong GPA while serving as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, helping other students succeed in challenging coursework. Outside the classroom, Lauren works as both a NYS-licensed EMT-B and an Emergency Room Technician at Samaritan Medical Center, gaining valuable clinical experience in high-pressure environments. She also volunteers on a 24/7 crisis hotline and has taken on leadership roles across multiple campus organizations, reflecting her commitment to service and community engagement. Balancing academics, clinical work, research, and leadership, Lauren has developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that prepare her for a future in medicine.
