SLU PIC Community Engagement & Events Coordinator

I had the pleasure of interning at the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce from June to August 2026. Working alongside the Chamber has taught me so much about business and the importance of interpersonal relationships in the professional field. I will carry the experience and skills well after my time at St.Lawrence ends. 

During my time at the Chamber, I helped organize and plan Potsdam Summer Fest. I helped create brochures, contact vendors and musicians, and map out locations for specific activities throughout the event. While working on Summer Fest, I also helped with the Chamber's general management, adding new members to the business directory and maintaining relationships with local businesses in Potsdam. 

My internship taught me the importance of community while also helping me develop my project management skills. I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone at the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, the generous donors who make the PIC program possible, and the SLU Careers team for being such a strong source of support.
