I interned at Ayling Property Services, based in Sotogrande, Spain, the leading real estate agency in the south of Spain. During my internship, I had the privilege of working in a dynamic environment that offered a wide range of learning opportunities.
One of my primary learning goals was to develop a deep understanding of the real estate industry, particularly in the context of the southern Spanish market. I actively pursued this goal by immersing myself in a variety of projects. These projects included conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to track property trends and market dynamics. This involved assessing factors like property values, location desirability, and market demand, which allowed me to gain valuable insights into property pricing strategies and market strategies.
Another significant aspect of my internship involved improving my communication skills. I was fortunate to participate in client meetings and property viewings, where I observed the art of negotiation. This hands-on experience taught me how to identify client needs, and reach mutually beneficial agreements—a vital skill set for success in the real estate industry.
In addition to my research and negotiation experiences, I took on the responsibility of capturing high-quality property images and videos and posting them on the agency's database. This not only enhanced my multimedia content creation skills but also contributed to the agency's marketing efforts by showcasing properties effectively to potential clients.
