Ruby LaClair

Hi! My name is Ruby LaClair, and I am a student at St. Lawrence University majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the pre-dental track. My academic interests stem from a passion for dentistry and a desire to understand how oral health contributes to overall health and well-being.

I spent the summer shadowing and assisting dentists at Clayton Dental, in Clayton, NY, where I learned about the wide range of responsibilities given to dental professionals. Observing and working with dentists allowed me to develop a greater appreciation for patient care, communication, and the importance of creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients. I intend to apply this new knowledge to pursue future opportunities in dentistry.
