Neva Bettinger is a Biology major with a minor in Sports Studies and Exercise Science. As a first-generation college student, she is motivated to excel academically while preparing for a career in physical therapy. She is also a member of Tri-Alpha Honor Society, which recognizes and supports first-generation student achievement. On campus, Neva is a Thrive Mentor, Vice President of the Agape Christian Club, and a member of the Pre-Health Club. She also contributes as a teaching assistant for General Biology and General Chemistry, and works as a student athletic trainer. These experiences have strengthened her communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills as she works toward graduate study in physical therapy and a career improving patients’ mobility, strength, and quality of life.
