Emma Caffrey, ’26, is from Duxbury, Massachusetts, and is double majoring in Economics and Psychology with a minor in Statistics. She is interested in behavioral decision-making research that bridges economic theory and experimental psychology. As a student researcher in Dr. Adam E. Fox's lab, Emma is conducting a multi-phase experiment to investigate the effects of experience and maturation on impulsive choice-making, specifically in a delay-discounting task with rats. Emma completed the first phase of this project during her summer fellowship and will continue this research throughout her senior year at St. Lawrence as her Senior Year Experience. With this research experience, Emma hopes to utilize and expand on her skills by pursuing graduate studies focused on behavioral science.
