Nací y crecí siendo una mujer dentro de los países más inseguros para ser mujer hoy en día. Hoy soy latina viviendo en un país con larga historia de racismo y una actual nube de cambio social. No puedo introducirme sin mencionar lo que implica ser yo en 2020.
Nací y crecí en la Ciudad de México, la capital de uno de los países más biodiversos del planeta, pero también uno de los países más violentos. Soy feminista y advoco por el medio ambiente; talvez soy una soñadora porque creo en el cambio. En el salón de clases estudio Economía y Estudios Ambientales con un minor en estadística. Afuera de clases, salgo a marchar a las calles por las mujeres que han desaparecido y han sido asesinadas, y también he salido a marchar a exigir la protección de la naturaleza. No todo es resistencia y lucha, porque también me gusta disfrutar mi juventud con la gente que amo. Pero, ¿Quién realmente soy? Mis luchas.

I was born and raised as a woman in the most insecure countries to be a woman today. Today I am Latina living in a country with a long history of racism and a current cloud of social change. I can't introduce myself without mentioning what it means to be me in 2020.
I was born and raised in Mexico City, the capital of one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet, but also one of the most violent countries. I am a feminist and I advocate for the environment; maybe I am a dreamer because I believe in change. In the classroom I am a double major in Economics and Environmental Studies with a minor in statistics. Outside of classes, I go out to the streets to protest for the women who have disappeared and been killed, and I have participated in strikes demanding the protection of nature. Not everything is resistance and struggle, because I also like to enjoy my youth with the people I love. But who really am I? My fights.
