During my internship at Menlo79, I worked at the intersection of data science and sales, focusing on automating and optimizing the firm’s lead generation process. I implemented workflows in Clay that reduced raw data search and enrichment time by 60%, and built a recurring system that automatically generated new leads each week and integrated them into HubSpot. Alongside automation, I conducted customer analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities and supported sales through cold calls with UK prospects, refining product pitches and improving client engagement. I also gained exposure to startup growth strategy, learning how short-term decisions align with long-term scaling goals, while improving internal processes by documenting automation workflows and sharing best practices with the sales team.
