During my internship based in Wall Street, I worked in a dynamic sales environment promoting POS systems to merchants across New York City. I gained hands-on experience in prospecting, pitching, and acquiring clients, which strengthened my ability to identify client needs, communicate value effectively, and build lasting relationships—skills that will benefit me in any future business development or client-facing role.
I also deepened my understanding of the fintech industry, particularly how POS systems and merchant processing services help businesses streamline operations. This technical knowledge enhanced my confidence in engaging with clients and explaining the benefits of the solutions we offered.
Through daily client interactions and mentorship from experienced professionals, I further developed my communication and leadership skills. I learned to take initiative, work independently, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
