Agustín Toledo Tonarelli

My name is Agustín Toledo Tonarelli, and I always include my two last names when introducing myself, since both my dad and my mom define me. My family is the most important thing I have; I kill and die for them. I was born in 2000, and I am fluent in Spanish, my native language, and in English.

I am Latino, Uruguayan, from Montevideo and from Palermo neighborhood. I am Candombe. The sound of the chico, piano and repique, that is my culture. I love music, and I have been making it since I was in my mother’s belly, or at least that’s what my dad says. I am passionate about football, and I support Club Nacional de Football.

My philosophy in life is “you receive what you give”. Empathy is the most important value for me. Putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, and understanding the different perspectives beside one’s own, is essential, and I try to apply it every day.

Me llamo Agustín Toledo Tonarelli, y siempre incluyo mis dos apellidos porque tanto mi padre como mi madre me definen. Mi familia es lo más importante que tengo; mato y muero por ellos. Nací en el año 2000, y soy fluido en Español, mi lengua nativa, y en Inglés. Soy Latino, uruguayo, Montevideano y del Barrio Palermo. Soy Candombe, el sonido del piano, chico y repique. De ahí sale mi amor por la música, el cual he desarrollado durante toda mi vida, hasta el día de hoy. Me apasiona el fútbol, y soy hincha del Club Nacional de Football.

Mi filosofía de vida es “lo que das, lo recibís”. Por esto, la empatía es el valor más importante para mí. Ponerse en el lugar de otra persona, y entender las distintas perspectivas además de la de uno mismo, es algo que considero fundamental, y lo implemento en mi día a día.
