Rory Sauereisen is an undergraduate student at St. Lawrence University majoring in Biology and minoring in Statistics. Interested in genomics, pathogens, and the immune system, she enjoys applying quantitative and computational methods to investigate questions in healthcare and epidemiological trends. On campus Rory worked as a biology TA, leads within the club ski team, and is an avid member of both Omicron Delta Kappa and Tri-Beta biological honors societies. Researching through the GSRM program at the University of Utah this summer, Rory expanded upon her passions in computational research investigating within-host diversity of Valley fever, a fungal infection occurring in southwestern US states.
