Kate Bouchard

Hey! I am currently a senior at St. Lawrence University, majoring in Environmental Studies with minors in Asian Studies and Outdoor Leadership. I am passionate about sustainable agriculture, specifically regarding increasing accessibility of local produce in aims to combat food sovereignty. Food, specifically, connects everyone in so many unique ways. It is vital to understand how our food is grown to reintroduce a deeper connection with the food that we consume. I am able to pursue this passion of mine through living in the Greenhouse Theme community at St. Lawrence. Post-graduation, I am hoping to take this passion and long-term pursuit into the Agricultural Sector of the Peace Corps.
