Yanru Chen, class of 2021 a senior graduate who is double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science, minoring in Music, comes from Chongqing, China. While Yanru expressed her interest in facial recognition and image classification, she broadened her perspective and hands-on knowledge through the school fellowship project with Dr.Ed Harcourt in the summer of 2020. Although the fellowship had tremendous help in building her thought of process in Artificial intelligence, she is eager to improve her Convolutional Neuron Network model and learn more about data processing and artificial intelligence techniques. Therefore, she decides to refine her skill and continue to pursue a Master degree in Data Science after graduating from St.Lawrence University and build her career in the relating fields.
