Hope Ninmann

Hope Ninmann '26 majored in Philosophy and minored in Arabic and Education at St. Lawrence University. Identifying as a first-generation low-income (FGLI) student, she became passionate about the FGLI students’ experience. Thus, Hope completed two research projects centered around FGLI students and their experiences. Between her personal experience, and learning about larger inequitable systems, Hope aims to eventually create change that mitigates the harm that has been done to minoritized groups. Right after graduation, Hope plans to take a gap year to prepare for a master’s degree in social work or public policy, working towards a more equitable future.
