Description

During my experience with Integrated Center for Child Development ("ICCD"), I was able to gain valuable insights into child development and the field of psychology. It was an invaluable experience where I was able to deepen my knowledge of the field as a whole. I worked closely with a team of experienced researchers on a project investigating prematurity and mental health outcomes, specifically externalizing disorders. I learned about the impact of early childhood interventions on cognitive development. I conducted a literature review to familiarize myself with relevant research within the field of child development. I gained a deeper understanding of ethical considerations in research involving children, including informed consent and confidentiality. It was an experience full of learning. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn more about the field and from experienced professionals.
