Hello! I am Aidan Fauth, currently a rising senior from Keene, New Hampshire. I am a Biology and Statistics double major. I am member of the men's soccer team and a student mentor in the Peterson Quantitative Resource Center on campus. I want to pursue a career in research that combines my passion for biology and the environment with my interests in statistics and mathematics. My current research includes using audio recorders and camera traps to better understand the terrestrial vertebrate community in St. Lawrence County, especially along the riparian corridors of the Oswegatchie, Grasse, and Raquette Rivers. This research project has taught me a lot about field work, study design, and data management -- skills that are essential to work in biostatistics.
